Don't even GET me started on Bamboo! Bamboo is at the top of my list of favorite plants. Extremely strong and versatile plant...like the type of people I like to hang with.
Bamboo is my plant! I love it, I have some growing in my front yard and can hardly wait for this years new growth to start. The young shoots are delicious steamed. I am waiting for a big sale to by some giant bamboo. Since I live at 7000 feet above sea level, I have to be careful what I plant in bamboo but the stuff that grows to 40' tall is what I would ultimately want to have in my yard.
I didn't realize bamboo could thrive at the elevation? Wow. See? Learn something every dang day!!! I have it everywhere in my house from live plants, to painted pictures. Just got through selling a set of paintings for $475.00!!! That REALLY stoked me up and I have Haiying to thank for that.
